Gary Perron: Gary Perron was born in the open prairie heartland of Saskatchewan, where the values of hard work, respect, and community were instilled in him from a young age. His family later moved to Winnipeg, where those same values continued to shape his character and sense of purpose. More than four decades ago, his path led him to Calgary, the place that has since become home. For over 40 years, he has built his life there, finding fulfillment in family, friendships, and the vibrant spirit of Alberta. Calgary’s mix of urban life and natural beauty has given him a deep appreciation for both its people and its landscapes, providing the ideal setting for raising a family and building lasting connections. At the core of his life is family. He takes great joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially during the summer months at the family lake house. The lake house holds a special place in his heart—it is a gathering place filled with laughter, shared meals, and the kind of moments that bring generations together. These times are about more than recreation; they are opportunities to pass on lessons, stories, and traditions.
